Information we collect
When you create a dating profile, we collect your first name, email, age, city and state, public Instagram handle, gender identity, who you want to meet, preferred age range, quick bio, DM code, introduction pace, and the interest pools you join. We also keep records of introductions so we do not repeatedly show you the same person and can enforce daily limits.
When you submit or boost a creator listing, we collect the creator or brand name, contact email, public social account, offer details, links, logo, bid amount, payment references, and evidence that you accepted our policies.
We collect basic usage and device information, page visits, referral information, and interactions with listings. Our current service providers may include Netlify, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Vemetric, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. We do not send dating-profile fields to Meta Pixel. Stripe processes payment-card information; we do not store complete card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to operate interest pools, find compatible introductions, verify and provide private account access, show creator listings and rankings, process payments, prevent abuse, moderate content, send account and matchmaking emails, measure site and advertising performance, and improve the service.
When you accept our Terms while creating a dating profile, we may also send occasional emails about Dating Antidote events and approved featured-partner offers. We may choose relevant messages using broad information such as your age range, city or state, saved interest pools, and interactions with creator content.
What other members see
Your dating profile is not placed on the public creator board. When we make a compatible introduction, the person receiving it may see your first name, age, city and state, quick bio, public Instagram handle, and DM code. Your DM code only indicates that an introduction came through The Dating Antidote; it does not verify identity or guarantee safety.
Creator listings, including creator identity, public social handle, content, bid, rank, and public click count, are public.
When we share information
We share data with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, email, and process payments; with a compatible member as described above; when required by law or needed to protect people and the service; and in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell dating-profile information or provide member email addresses or dating profiles to featured partners. A featured partner may receive aggregated campaign results, such as messages delivered and content clicks.
Retention and deletion
You may pause introductions or permanently delete your dating profile from your private account. Deletion removes the identifiable profile and its pool memberships and introduction records from our active database. We may retain de-identified aggregate events, fraud-prevention records, legal-consent records, payment records, and backups for legitimate legal, accounting, security, and measurement purposes.
Creator and payment records may be retained as needed to operate rankings, handle disputes, meet tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our terms.
Your choices
You can change your introduction pace, rotate your DM code, remove individual pools, pause introductions, or delete your dating profile from your private account. Every promotional email will provide a way to unsubscribe. An unsubscribe does not prevent necessary account, security, or service messages. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Rights vary by location, and we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security and age limit
We use access tokens, restricted database permissions, and service-provider safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security. The Dating Antidote is only for adults age 18 or older.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be presented with a new effective date and, when appropriate, renewed consent. Submit questions and privacy requests through our contact form.
